The leadership of Savannah United Hairdressers Association has received assistance from the Savannah Regional Chairman of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Alhaji Iddrisu Sulemana aka Professor Kalamonia when they paid a courtesy call on him at his resident.
The women expressed their joy and happiness at Chairman Kalamonia's warm reception and presented him with a letter asking for his support in expanding the association's activities, as well as inviting him to their inauguration ceremony.
Prof Kalamonia praised the women's efforts and pledged his support for the organization's growth. He contributed GHc 1,000 to the association to help them carry out their activities.
Mr. Kanyiti Saburu Kantama, popularly known as Alhaji NABCO, the aide to the Savannah regional Chairman, presented the money to the President of the association and his entourage for and on behalf of Professor Kalamonia.
In response, the President thanked Professor Kalamonia for his kind assistance and urged other leaders to emulate his leadership style in order to help grow the young and infant region.
