S/R: Negative reporting can turn off investors; let us be positive–NPP Regional Director of Communication charges media practitioners.

Mr Issah Mohammed, the Savannah Regional Director of Communications of the NPP, has charged media practitioners in the region with promoting the infant region positively to attract investors. According to the maveric communicator, the sort of stories authored about the region can influence how people perceive it. He urged the media to stop publishing bad reports and instead focus on positive stories that will lift and encourage investment to the region. Director Issah stated during a media tour in the region that "if on a daily basis the stories we ourselves are publishing out of here to the rest of the country and the world at large are gory stories; stories of insecurity; stories of inability to do anything positive in these areas, if these are the kind of stories we are telling, we will not be complimenting the efforts at attracting investments into these areas." Aid me in developing small-scale mining—Abu Jinapor to the chiefs and people of Bole

Samuel Abu Jinapor, the minister for lands and natural resources, is urging the chiefs and people of the Bole Traditional Area to assist his ministry in developing the country's small scale mining sector. According to the Damongo MP, who is on a five-day working visit to the country's five northern regions, the current regime is not against small-scale mining in the country, but it is against irresponsible mining that degrades the environment. On his final working visit to the Savannah Region, the sector minister addressed chiefs and people of the Bole traditional area, urging the good people of the area to adopt eco friendly mining processes that will profit everybody.
