The Bole District Branch of the National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA) has today Friday June 11, 2021 planted sixty (60) trees as part of the National tree planting exercise led by the President of Ghana. The Green Ghana project, which is a Ministry of Lands and Natural Resources initiative spearheaded by sector Minister Samuel Abu Jinapor, aimed to plant five million trees in a single day. The Bole branch of the National Health Insurance Authority planted 60 various types of tree species on the premises of the NHIA led by the scheme Manager Mr. Mohammed Suraj-Deen and his staff. Ghana's leading youth in Domestic Tourism promotion network Tourism Aid Ghana has launched its Northern Bloc to decentralize their operations in all five Northern Regions. The groundbreaking ceremony which took place on Saturday 29th May, 2021 at the Bole Chief's Palace in the Savvanah Region of Ghana brought together various stakeholders in the Tourism industry and some traditional leaders of the community. It also unveiled the Northern Regional Bloc Coordinator and other executives to man activities of the organization in the Region. The New Development Alliance has unveiled Edem Dei-Tutu and Ayisha Yakubu as the party’s flagbearer and running mate respectively ahead of the general elections. Launching the manifesto of NDA at the Ringway campus of the Ghana Institute of Journalism on March 10, 2021, the commutations director of the party Festus Harlley said the NDA is a new force in the political dispensation of Ghana and that the two personalities elected as presidential and vice presidential candidates are “the best pair for Ghana”.
